Ernest Aldrich Simpson (6 May 1897 – 30 November 1958) was an American-born naturalized British shipping executive best known as the second husband of Wallis Simpson. He was a partner with the City shipbroking firm Simpson, Spence & Young. ==Background== Born in New York City and educated at The Hill School and before attending Harvard, Simpson served as a Captain in the Coldstream Guards during World War I.
